'Kalarajani' to be held for Marathi film technicians

Kolhapur, Jan 29 (UNI) Leading Marathi film stars have arranged 'Kalarajani', an entertainment programme, tomorrow night at the Shahu Khasbag arena here, to raise funds for the welfare of the Marathi film industry technicians.

This announcement was jointly made by actress Alka Kubal and actor Mohan Joshi in a press conference here last night. Alka Kubal is the president and Mohan Joshi is the secretary of a newly formed film artists trust, 'Jivhala', which is organising this programme.

They said that they will stage three such shows in the state, starting from Kolhapur.

''We are planning to raise about Rs one crore from the programmes and will also accept donations while raising the funds,'' they added.
