InfoTech exhibition kicks off in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, Jan 29 (UNI) The 14th Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) InfoTech, an annual information technology exhibition, began at Birendra International Convention Center here today.

Nearly 300 national and international Information Technology firms, including Indian companies, will exhibit their information and technology products in the the six-day IT expo.

The smallest laptop computer, low cost computers, colour printers, multi-tasking gadgets,including a range of soft-wares and hard-wares are being exhibited and are being sold in the exhibition.

Organisers said low cost computers for as low as Rs 17,000 (nearly Indian Rs 11,000) to laptops at a mere price of Rs 47,000 (Indian Rs 30,000) will be available in the exhibition.

The association organises such exhibition every year that attracts thousands of people every day.
