Goa Govt deputes doctors team for West Bengal
Panaji, Jan 29 (UNI) The government of Goa today deputed a team of doctors, at the request of the Centre to assist the West Bengal government in controlling the spread of bird flu there.
The team comprises Dr Rajendra Tamba (state epidemiologist), Dr Mohandas Pednekar, (senior Physician) and Dr Shubhangi Borkar (microbiologist).
They will supervise the control measures being adopted by the West Bengal authorities and assist the officials from the National Institute of Communicable Diseases, according to an official release here today.
