Five killed, six injured in jeep-truck collision

Panipat, Jan 29 (UNI) Five people were killed and six others injured in a jeep - truck collision near Maharana village on the Panipat- Rohtak highway today.

While four died on the spot, a woman succumbed to her - injuries at PGIMS, Rohtak.

The deceased were identified as Kala alias Suraj (15), Daya Nand (32), Nizamudin (28), Rampal (27) and Kamlesh, a woman. Their bodies were handed over to their families after postmortem.

The injured, who were stated to be in serious condition, were hospitalised at Rohtak.
