Dharam slams Vishwanath for reference to S M Krishna
Bangalore, Jan 29 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister N Dharam Singh today described the references to Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna in the autobiography of Congress leader M Vishwanath as ''unwarranted and in bad taste''.
Reacting to the protests against the book by Mr Krishna's supporters in Mysore and Mandya yesterday, he told newspersons here that it was not proper way to make such comments on a senior leader like Mr Krishna.
''The references would not have any impact on either the image of Mr Krishna or the Congress. Mr Vishwanath is known for raking up controversies. I will advise him in this regard,'' he said.
The release of the autobiography titled 'Halli Hakkiya Haadu' in Mysore was stalled yesterday following the protests. However, Mr Vishwanath released the book today.
