Dabur Q3 net profit surges 22.9%
New Delhi, Jan 29 (UNI) FMCG major Dabur India Ltd today said its net profit has grown 22.9 per cent at Rs 88.1 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as against Rs 71.7 crores in the same period last year.
The turnover witnessed an increase of 11.4 per cent to Rs 525.35 crores for Q3 FY2007-08 from Rs 471.45 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company's net profit surged 22.3 per cent to Rs 228 crores for the nine month period ending December 31, 2007 from Rs 186.4 crores during the same period a year ago.
The turnover for the nine months ended December 31, 2007 registered a growth of 12.4 per cent to Rs 1,378.85 crores from Rs 1,226.58 crores a year earlier.
The Group's net profit increased 19.2 per cent to Rs 94.5 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as against Rs 79.3 crores in the same period last year.
The Group's turnover for the quarter increased 14.3 per cent to Rs 658.65 crores for Q3 FY2007-08 from Rs 576.52 crores a year earlier.
The Group's net profit recorded a 22.9 per cent jump to Rs 253.3 crores for the nine-month period ending December 31, 2007, from Rs 206.1 crores a year earlier.
The Group's turnover, during the same period, increased by 15.8 per cent to Rs 1,781.68 crores as against Rs 1,539.15 crores in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Dabur posted a 21 per cent increase in the sales during the nine-month period ended December 31, 2007.
