CVP to observe foundation day on Feb 1

Raipur, Jan 29 (UNI) NDA Convenor and former Union Minister George Fernandes and JMM supremo Shibu Soren will take part in the foundation day of Chhattisgarh Vikas Party (CVP) on February 1.

In a statement issued here today, CVP Acting President P Raghwan said Chhattisgarhiya Sammelan and Voter Pension Camp Republican Party President Ramdas Athawale, MP and Janmorcha General Secretary Raj Babbar, Samjwadi Loktantrik Party President Raghu Thakur, Rashtriya Samanta Dal President Motilal Shastri, Bhartiya Jansansad Sanyukt Morcha President Ramkrishan Dev will also participate in the function.

After the convention, CVP's core group members will submit a Voter Pension petition in the name of the President to the Governor.

The petition -- filled by the voters -- will demand Rs 1,750 per month as pension to all the voters across the nation.

Mr Raghwan added that 36 litterateurs and budding sports person would be honoured at the function. Besides, welcome gates of 36 great men will be erected during the function.
