Congress trying to postpone poll in Karnataka: JD(S)
Bangalore, Jan 29 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) leader H D Kumaraswamy today alleged that the Congress was trying to postpone elections to the State Legislative Assembly in the name of delimitation of Assembly constitutencies.
Speaking to newspersons here today, Mr Kumaraswamy criticised the Congress for trying to defer elections in the state, as it is scared of losing.
Stating that the JD-S was prepared to face elections any time, Mr Kumaraswamy expressed confidence that his party would capture power.
The JD(S) government's impressive performance during its 20-month tenure would enable the party to emerge with success in poll, he added.
