College students arrested for resorting to agitation in city
Coimbatore, Jan 29(UNI) As many as 240 students from different colleges were arrested when they resorted to rail-roko here today.
Police said the students demanded cancellation of the Central Government order that the scheduled castes students are eligibile for scholarships, only if they secure 60 per cent marks in higher education.
They were released later.
