Britney allowed telephonic contact with her kids

Washington, Jan 29 : Britney Spears may not be having the visitation rights to her kids, but the troubled singer has been allowed to speak to them over the phone.

According to the minute order released from the Los Angeles Superior Court, coming from last week's custody hearing over Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, Spears has the ability to call her boys.

"Petitioner is to have telephonic contact with the minor children in accordance with the parties' oral stipulation," the court papers said.

However, it is not clear from the minute order when or for how long Spears could have telephone visits.

"(Spears) is to have telephonic contact with the minor children. All prior orders remain in full force and effect," People quoted Commissioner Scott Gordon, as saying at the hearing.

The next hearing in the child custody battle between Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline will take place on February 4.

Spears' visitation rights to her children were revoked earlier this month, following a reported custody standoff at the pop star's home.
