AP CM asks finance dept to release Rs 1 crore fund
Hyderabad, Jan 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today asked the Finance department to immediately release Rs 1 crore to each Assembly constituency under the Assembly Constituency Development Fund for taking up developmental works, as assured by him.
The Chief Minister held a review meeting with Finance and Legislative Affairs Minister K Rosaiah. He directed the Finance department to release Rs 50 lakh to each MLA as part of the fund and another Rs 50 lakh to the incharge Ministers in Andhra and Rayalaseema areas.
However, the Rs 50 lakh to each constituency to incharge Ministers of Telangana would be given to the Telangana Regional Development Board as promised by the Chief Minister.
