Tax payers can view undelivered refund returns on website

Mumbai, Jan 28 (UNI) The salaried-tax payers in Mumbai region can now access their undelivered refund returns details on the department's website, using their Permanent Account Number (PAN).

The Income Tax department has published the list of all Income-tax refunds returned to the department for want of correct address, on its official website, an official release stated.

Salary tax payers, who have not received refunds for assessment years 2003-04 to 2006-07, can log on to the website (www.incometaxindia.gov.in) and enter PAN and the assessment year to find out whether any refund has been returned undelivered.

If any refund has been returned undelivered due to change of address, then the tax payer can enter the present correct address and the undelivered refund will be sent to the taxpayer at the new address, the release added.
