Mix trend in precious metals

Mumbai, Jan 28: Precious metals witnessed a mixed trend today as silver improved by a meagre Rs 15 per kg, while gold declined by Rs 10 per ten gm in the opening trading session at the Bombay Bullion market.

Following are the opening rates of spot silver and gold in the Bombay Bullion Market today: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 20,985 Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,715 Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 11,770.
