Man shot dead, nephew critical in UP

Etawah, Jan 28: Unidentified miscreants shot dead a man and grievously wounded his nephew in Saifai area here last night, police today said.

Balram Singh Yadav and his nephew Sanju were returning home after attending a 'tilak' ceremony in Karhal. They were waylaid by assailants and shot, resulting in Balram's instant death.

Sanju was later rushed to hospital in a critical condition.

A case had been registered.
