Larsen and Toubro net up 40.09%

New Delhi, Jan 28 (UNI) Larsen and Toubro Ltd (L&T) today said it has posted a net profit 40.09 per cent of Rs 481.79 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 343.9 crore for the corresponding period previous year.

Its total income increased 53.47 per cent from Rs 4,224.49 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 to Rs 6,483.55 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007.
