Jindal Steel Q3 net up by 68 per cent

New Delhi, Jan 28: Jindal Steel and Power Ltd today said it has posted a whopping increase in its net profit by 68 per cent to Rs 319.05 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 189.9 crore for the corresponding year previous year. Its total income was increased 39.01 per cent from Rs 1,012.43 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 to Rs 1,407.41 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007.
