Huge arms and ammunition recovered in south Bihar

Gaya, Jan 28 (UNI) Police today recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from a hideout inside Bhalua forest near Barachatti in the district.

Police here said acting on a tip off a team of Bihar police raided the hideout and recovered two countrymade rifles, cane bomb, several rounds of live cartridges and some incriminating literatures from the spot.

The criminals , however, managed to escape, police said adding raids were on to nab them.

Earlier, a special police team had recovered a huge cache of sophisticated arms and ammunition from a criminal hideout inside Jhurang forest near Fatehpur in the district yesterday.
