GVK Power announces Q3 financial results
Hyderabad, Jan 28 (UNI) GVK Power and Infrastructure Limited (GVKPIL) today announced its un-audited consolidated financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2007.
In a release here, the Company registered a total income of Rs 118 crore against Rs 67 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous year, an increase of 77 per cent.
GVKPIL's net profit for the quarter increased to Rs 40 crore from the corresponding previous year's Rs 9 crore, an increase of 436 per cent.
The Company posted an increase in total income of Rs 354 crore during the period of nine months ended December 31, 2007, compared to Rs 212 crore for the corresponding previous year, an increase of 67 per cent.
The Company's net profit increased to Rs 101 crore, against Rs 24 crore during the corresponding previous year, an increase of 315 per cent.
The Profit After Tax (PAT) for nine months ended December 31, 2007, had already crossed the previous year's PAT, the release said.
