I would get Grammy award for school shootings: Manson

Washington, Jan 28 : Rocker Marilyn Manson shot down claims that his music is responsible for violent teens' behaviour.

The 39-year-old singer asserted that he is been given too much bad press after it was found that those who committed mass murders at schools such as Virginia Tech and Columbine were fans of his music.

The 'Tainted Love' star believes that he could get Grammy award for school shootings

"For Marilyn Manson, it seems to have become about the death toll, because we get blamed for every act of violence," Contactmusic quoted Manson, as saying.

"They don't have a Grammy award for school shootings, but I guess I would get one if they did, whether I asked for one or not," he added.
