Devegowda criticises BJP top leaders for fall of coalition govt
Shimoga, Jan 28 (UNI) Former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) Supremeo H D Devegowda has blamed BJP national leaders for the fall of coalition government in the state.
Mr Devegowda addressing a convention of party workers here today said that he had decided to handover the Chief Minister post to BJP during the sharing of power in October but a week later just to avoid astrologically some unfavourable times.
He alleged that BJP national leaders had agreed to wait for week according to astrology but later surprisingly they all hurried with the things and created a confusion in sharing of power.
"BJP is responsible for the fall of the coalition government, which was about to run for another 20 months," he said.
At present there is a curse on him and his family, he said adding that he is waiting for liberating from this curse.
He said that his politics is not of hereditary one and JD (S) is a party of all castes, religions of the country.
