DDA penalty relief scheme 2007 extended
New Delhi, Jan 28 (UNI) Keeping in view demand of the Residents Welfare Associations, the Delhi Development Authority today extended its penalty relief scheme for a further period of six months, upto June 30.
The scheme will be available only to those applicants who intend to clear following outstanding dues in one go, a DDA release said.
The Penalty Relief Scheme '2007' provides to the individual allotees 25 per cent relief in respect of unpaid penalty (interest) on late/non-payment of installments.
Under the scheme, no restoration charges are levied.
If an applicant deposits the amount short by upto Rs 25,000, he will be considered under the scheme but will have to deposit the balance amount of demand, together with interest @ 18 per cent per annum from date of application. Failure to pay this amount within three months would result into cancellation of property.
