Congress names 50 candidates for Nagaland poll
New Delhi, Jan 28 (UNI) Former Nagaland Chief Minister K L Chishi will seek re-election from Dimapur-I in the next month's state assembly election as the party today announced the list of its first batch of 50 candidates.
Congress Legislature Party leader I Imkong will contest from Jangpetkong constituency.
Several sitting MLAs, who recently joined the Congress from the rival side, were also given tickets in the election for the 60-member state Assembly.
The second list will be announced tomorrow, AICC sources said.
