Cong demands apology from Mamata for comments against Pranab
Kolkata, Jan 28 (UNI) The West Bengal Congress today demanded an apology from Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee for criticising External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee after the latter was conferred ''Padma Vibhushan''.
'' Ms Banerjee's comments against the Union Minister is shocking.
She should know that the Centre has chosen him for his long contribution in differents fields, '' CLP leader Manas Bhuniya told newspersons here.
'' It is not only Bengal, but the entire country feels proud for Mr Mukherjee, '' he added.
The Congress and the Rajiv Gandhi Development Institute had decided to felicitate Mr Mukherjee.
