BJP farmers convention at Madanapalli on Jan 31
Tirupati, Jan 28 (UNI) The BJP will organise a farmers convention as part of 'Porubata' programme at Madanapalli in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh on January 31.
Party sources said senior party leaders Venkaiah Naidu, Bandaru Dattatreya, former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, among others, would take part in the convention to discuss issues relating to farmers and hike in minimum support price for paddy and other crops.
Rallies would be taken out from various villages and culminate at Madanapalli, where party leaders would address a public meeting, the sources added.
