Three killed during blasting work in a well in Ajmer
Ajmer, Jan 27 (UNI) Three people were killed and two injured in a blasting work while digging a well at Devpura village under Arai block in Ajmer district today.
According to police sources, blasting work was going in a well of the underground Water department in the area, when the detonation of the blast led to the boulders being thrown out of the well, which hit the people in the neighbourhood killing a labourer and two others and also injuring two persons.
The injured have been admitted at the JLN hospital in Ajmer.
The governemnt had announed an ex-gratia payment of Rs 10,000 each to the next of kin of the diseased.
