TN Governor hosts R Day Reception
Chennai, Jan 26 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala today hosted 'At Home' here this evening.
Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, Madras High Court Chief Justice A P Shah, Speaker R Avudaiappan, DGP P Rajendran and top police and civil officials were among those present, a Raj Bhavan release said here tonight.
The Governor gave away shields for best tableaux and carnivals.
He also presented shawls and mementoes to artistes for their cultural performances at the Raj Bhavan.
