Temp falls to below zero degree C at Adampur

severe
cold
wave
with
temperatures
once
again
dropping
to
below
zero
degrees
Celsius
in
Adampur
near
Jalandhar.
The minimum temperature recorded at the Indian Air Force (IAF) base at Adampur plummeted to minus 0.2 degrees, from 1.0 degree yesterday.
The minimum however rose marginally at Amritsar and was recorded at 0.0 degrees C.
The minimum at the IAF base at Halwara near Ludhiana was 3.2 degrees. There was also a marginal rise of temperatures in the Malwa belt with Bhatinda recording 2.0 degrees.
The minimum temperature in the border town of Pathankot was down to 2.2 degrees from 3.0 degrees yesterday. The Met office at Adampur has perdicted overcast skies with light to moderate rain in Punjab in the next 24 hours.
