Punjab Police recover 2 live bombs

Moga, Jan 26: The Punjab Police yesterday recovered two live bombs from a secluded place in Basti Sadhanwali here last night.

According to SSP Ashok Nath preliminary inquiries revealed that the bombs had probably been dumped by a scrap dealer after realising that these could go off if he attempted to extracted scrap from them. The army authorities were later summoned and the bombs were diffused.

The police have launched an investigation and are contacting the scrap dealers of the town.
