Puducherry Lt Governor unfurls flag on Republic Day
Puducherry, Jan 26(UNI) Puducherry Lt Governor Mukut Mithi unfurled the national flag at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex here today and inspected a guard of honour presented by the Puducherry armed police to mark the 59th Republic Day celebrations in the Union Territory.
This was followed by march-past of police, home guards, NCC and Ex-servicemen, among others.
Tableaux highlighted the achievements of various departments of the administration. Cultural programmes were also organised on the occasion.
