Jayant Patil hoists Tricolour in Aurangabad
Aurangabad, Jan 26 (UNI) The State Government is committed towards development of the Marathwada region, Maharashtra Finance minister Jayant Patil said.
He said that special attention would be paid to the development of infrastructure of the region for promoting the region's tourism and industrial growth. He was speaking after hoisting the Tricolour on the occasion of the 59th Republic Day celebrations at the main official function at the police parade ground here.
Mr Patil also took the salute at a combined ceremonial parade by the police, boys and girls from the National Cadet Corps (NCC), fire brigade personnel and the home guards.
Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Kumar, District Collector Sanjeev Jaiswal, the Commissioner of Police Uddhav Kamble and the Special Inspector General of Police Bhagwantrao More were among those present at the function.
