Governor Krishna hoists national flag

Mumbai, Jan 26: Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna hoisted the national flag on the occasion of the 59th Republic Day during the state function at the Shivaji Park here today.

The Governor also inspected a ceremonial parade on the occasion.

Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil, Minister for Non-Conventional Energy Sources Vijay Kore, high-ranking officials from the armed forces, state police, civil services, counsel generals of various countries, freedom fighters and citizens were present on the occasion.
