Four killed as car falls into canal

New Delhi, Jan 26 (UNI) In a major accident, four people were killed when their car fell into a barrage in Vasundhara Enclave area on the Delhi-Noida border.

While bodies of three have been fished out from the canal, search was on to get to the fourth, said a police official.

''All four, who are residents of Ganesh Nagar and Pandav Nagar in East Delhi, have been identified. All are in the age group of 25-26.'' Of those whose bodies have been fished out are Pradeep, Bobby and Devender while efforts were on to recover the body of Kamal, he said.

''People living nearby told us that the incident took place around 2345 hrs last night.'' Their car fell into the canal after breaking the railing, he said adding that only after the post-mortem, the cause of the accident would be known.
