Fire at 5-star hotel Grand in New Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 26: A major fire swept through one of capital's swankiest hotel, Grand in Vasant Kunj area of South West Delhi this afternoon.

However, no injuries have been reported so far, the fire brigade said. ''The fire started in one of the restaurants in the basement of Hotel Grand on Nelson Mandela Marg at about 1240 hrs,'' it said. More than 30 fire tenders have been rushed to the spot, still struggling to control the major fire, it added.
