Crime branch challans Transport company
Srinagar, Jan 26 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police crime branch has challaned a transport company for misusing CST/GST numbers.
A spokesman of the crime branch said a case had been registered in the crime branch, Kashmir in connection with a complaint regarding misuse of CST/GST numbers by a transport company Bilal Goods Carrier, Magarmal Bagh Srinagar for exporting carpets worth crores of rupees in order to evade tax causing loss to State exchequer.
He said another case had been registered in connection with securing of government job by one Shabir Ahmed Khan of Rajpora Handwara by forging his date of birth.
The chargesheets in these cases were presented before the court of third Additional Munsif, Srinagar.
