Bomb inside suitcase turns hoax

Varanasi, Jan 26 (UNI) The presence of a bomb in an unclaimed big suitcase recovered from the North Eastern Railway city station here today turned out to be a hoax.

When the railway staff spotted an unclaimed suitcase near the ticket counter, there was a lot of panic, sources said.

Police of three stations, including Jaitpura under whose jurisdiction the city station falls, reached with the bomb disposal squad on that spot and on opening the suitcase, some clothes and papers were recovered.

So far, nobody has come forward to claim the suitcase.
