ValueMinds releases first online tooling companion

Hyderabad, Jan 25 (UNI) Hyderabad-based ValueMinds Solutions today released TesterDesk, the world's first online tooling companion.

TestersDesk was available online in its beta form at www.testersdesk.com and was free for all testers to join and leverage, a release here said.

The online platform delivers tester-centric features such as generation of Test Data Files, Test Input Helpers that aid in driving input data during testing, Security testing aids, Web data generators and tester-friendly features like Credit Card generators, Interaction Selectors that reduce the test cases needed to test an application, among others.

''We are delivering this first online testing platform as a New Year gift to the Software Testers, and are confident of increasing the speed and accuracy in the test engineering methods.

There are Automation tools, Online Community Forums for discussions, Educational and Certification sources, Consultative sources and Knowledge-oriented magazines in the Software Testing Space", ValueMinds Solutions Pvt Ltd Founder CEO and CTO Ashwin Palaparthi said.

Mr Palaparthi said, however, there were dozens of activities that testers have to do and TestersDesk exists to support them from the engineering perspective.

The online product was in its beta now, and a few dozens of features were underway. TestersDesk was not competing with the Testing Industry and only serves as a complimentary function. Test productivity improvement was the value that the platform brings to testers, the release added.
