In Pak military offices, Musharraf is now a civilian!

Islamabad, Jan.25 : President Pervez Musharraf's picture in military uniform has been replaced with a picture of him in civil dress in army offices, including corps commanders' offices.

The Daily Times quoted a military spokesman as saying that this is standard practice.

"President Musharraf has retired as army chief and re-elected as a civilian president; therefore, his picture in civilian dress has been put in the offices.

While, Gen Ashfaq Kayani has assumed the office of army chief, therefore, his picture has been placed," the spokesman added.

Military sources said pictures of Mohammad Jinnah, the Founder of Pakistan, the president and the army chief are placed in all military offices.
