MP: Nazul land to be made freehold

The
Madhya
Pradesh
government
has
decided
in
principle
to
make
leasehold
Nazul
land
as
freehold
and
a
proposal
in
this
regard
will
be
put
up
for
the
cabinet's
consideration
shortly.
A high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here yesterday considered the proposal moved by Revenue department, official sources said.
The meeting also discussed the action taken by Orissa and Delhi governments to make leasehold Nazul land freehold and the difficulties being faced by the allottees.
