Miraculous escape for Bihar Cabinet Minister

Patna, Jan 25 (UNI) Bihar Building Construction Minister Monazir Hasan and six other passengers had a miraculous escape when a state government aircraft crashlanded at Patna airport this evening.

Dr Hasan and six others, however, sustained minor injuries as the aircraft caught fire on crash landing.

The incident occurred as Dr Hasan and six others travelling in the same aircraft were returning here from an official trip to Chapra. As the plane was about to land, its front wheel got stuck and could not be opened on time.

As a result, the plane crashlanded before being caught on fire, slightly injuring the Minister and others.

The aircraft was, however, badly damaged, official sources here said.

Later speaking to UNI, Dr Hasan thanked the Almighty for their miraculous escape and described his and others' injuries as minor.

'' We just jumped out of the burning aircraft after it crashlanded and escaped with minor injuries, '' the Minister stated.
