Call money opens flat at 07.75 pc
Mumbai, Jan 25 (UNI) A listless condition in inter-bank call money rates prevailed today as the call rates opened flat at 07.50-07.75 per cent against the same level of previous close following the all India bank strike today which reflected on paucity of liquidity funds at the domestic market, dealers said.
Later, it fluctuated a narrow range between 7.25 and 8.00 per cent during the mid-morning session. Operators were having difficulties of matching their out standing position because of uncertainty of liquidity fund coupled with all India banks strike. However, activity was restricted with cautious dealing, brokers pointed out.
