Akash Passey, new MD of Volvo Bus Body Technologies

Bangalore, Jan 25 (UNI) Volvo Bus Body Technologies India Private Limited, a joint venture by Volvo Bus Corporation and Azad Group, today announced appointment of Mr Akash Passey as its Managing Director.

Mr Passey would be responsible for the operations of Volvo Buses' new plant and all related activities in India as well as South Asia, according to a company release here.

On his promotion from Project Manager, Mr Passey said ''India is a key market for Volvo and the changes in today's transport industry makes it more challenging. With our team, we look forward to continue setting standards in the commercial vehicle industry in India''.
