22 held for defacing TN buses
Chennai, Jan 25 (UNI) About 22 people were arrested today when they blackened out English names on Tamil Nadu State Express Transport Corporation buses (SETC) at the Mofussil bus terminus at Koyambedu.
The agitation was organised to commemorate the Language Martyrs' Day.
The agitators had assembled at the bus depot and blackened about three to four buses with far, before they were arrested by the police.
The arrested would be released later, police said.
