Two men get life term for abducting minor

Sultanpur, Jan 24 (UNI) A local court awarded life imprisonment to two accused for abducting a 12-year-old boy.

According to prosecution, Rajendra Singh of village Bisanva in Baldirai area, along with his aides, had kidnapped contractor Hardev Singh's son Shubham over an old enmity in December 2006.

Kuldeep and Devendra were also accused in the case.

Later, Shubham was rescued from the clutches of the trio.

Additional District and Sessions Judge (V) Bikanuram yesterday slapped Rajendra and Devendra with life term.

Besides, imposing penalty of Rs 8,000 each.
