Trade union leader Mahavir Prasad Sinha dead

Lucknow, Jan 24 (UNI) Senior trade union leader and social worker Mahavir Prasad Sinha passed away after a prolonged illness here today.

He was 81 and is survived by two sons and one daughter.

Sinha started his career from Leader newspaper and had retired from National Herald.

His last rites were performed at Kudiyaghat here.

In a message, UP chief minister Mayawati expressed profound grief on Sinha's demise and prayed for peace for the departed soul.
