Red fort closed to general public from Jan 22 to 26
New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) The Red Fort in Delhi will remain closed to the public and general visitors from January 22 to 26 owing to the Republic Day celebrations in the Capital, the Delhi Government today said.
''The Red Fort will remain closed for public and general visitors from January 22 -26 due to security reasons during the Republic Day celebrations,''a Delhi Government release said.
An integral feature of the Republic Day celebrations every year is the annual parade showcasing the country's military might and its rich cultural heritage. The parade starts from Vijay Chowk and ends at Red Fort.
