Raw jute gutted in a factory of WB

Barrackpore, Jan 24: A huge quantity of raw jute was gutted in a fire that broke out early today in Nilkantha Jute Processing factory at Muragachha near Loknath Ashram near here in North 24 Parganas.

Fire brigate sources said, three fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the fire that took over two hours to extinguish. The cause of fire was yet to be ascertained and no casualty was reported from the incident, fire brigade here said.
