2 arm smugglers held, illicit arms seized
Gorakhpur, Jan 24 (UNI) Police today arrested two members of an inter-district arms smuggling racket near the railway station here.
On a tip-off, police cordoned off the area and nabbed Vijay Kumar and Surendra Pratap Chauhan, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) K Satyanarayan said.
Five illicit firearms and some cartridges were also seized from their possession, the SSP added.
Investigations are on.
