UBI to introduce railway ticket issuing ATMs
Tirupati, Jan 23 (UNI) As part of providing more facilities to pilgrims visiting the Lord Venkateswara temple here, the Union Bank of India (UBI) will introduce a railway ticket issuing ATM centre in Tirupati shortly, General Manager l N B Rao said today.
Talking to newspersons after inaugurating an ATM centre here, he said the bank would establish 1,000 new branches in the country by the end of April this year. With this the total number of bank branches would be 24,000.
The bank had a total buiness mix of over Rs 1,63,399 crore as on September 2007 besides one lakh crore deposits, he said.
