Suspected militant shot dead in Manipur

Imphal, Jan 23: A suspected militant was shot dead by Imphal West Police Commandos at Moirang Hanuba, Imphal West, last night.

Police said they noticed the suspected militant moving suspiciously and confronted and shot him dead. A hand grenade was recovered and his body was today sent to a morgue at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences(RIMS) for identification and post mortem.
