Jammu, Jan 23 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government today proposed to construct a modern Lift Irrigation Scheme estimated to cost Rs 3.10 crore at Moshwara, Shopian to provide irrigation facility to about 412 acres of orchard land in the area.
The assurance was given by the Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Mohammad Dilawar Mir to a deputation here.
Mr Dilawar instructed the Chief Engineer PHE, Kashmir to immediately submit the draft project report DPR for this purpose to the government to arrange the required funds could under centrally sponsored AIBP scheme.
